Pottery has long played a vital role in community building, in sharing food, drinks and story. In this series, we visit the homes of friends and the community of RPR to document and continue this tradition.
In April, we visited friend, model and lawyer, Michaela Finlay on Gadigal land, during the final months of her Bondi apartment, before moving on due to the site being sold for re-development and turned into luxury apartments.
Built in 1931, the 'Sandy' apartments, with their rich social and artistic history have been a slice of paradise for many people, peers and friends, including Michaela, who has been living there for the last few years.
Over espresso, we documented the space before walking down for a sunset swim at Tamarama.
