Pottery has long played a vital role in community building, in sharing food, drinks and story. In this series, we visit the homes of friends and the community of RPR to document and continue this tradition.

In July, we visited web designer Elijah Innes on Gadigal land at their Darlinghurst apartment. Elijah, with a keen eye and interest in object, has collected many of Remy's ceramic works over the years as Remy's partner, from tableware to furniture.
Shelves filled with ceramic objects and art pieces

In the entry to the apartment, thick, wooden shelves are filled with personal pieces, books and artworks. Between Remy's tableware pots and Elijah's handmade pieces, works by friends and from travels are displayed, creating an intimate collection of objects.

In the kitchen, slip decorated dinner plates from Remy's residency in Wollongong are on high rotation.

The apartment, with its expansive views and natural light has become a trove of considered objects and furniture, including the Oribe Stool next to their Poltrona leather bentwood chair and print from Barcelona.
