In December 2021, Remy exhibited his first solo show, 'The Baskets' at Sheffer Gallery in Darlington, Sydney.

This body of work explored the traditional and universal craft of basket making as the vehicle to explore unifying symbols of object making across different cultures. The exhibition featured over 25 different pieces, all baskets with handles with unique glazes made from recycled wood ash.

Handles, glazes, containers, clays and slips were how Remy explored basket making and how it can interact with the material qualities of ceramics.

This body of work marked Remy's first solo exhibition in a gallery and was the result of years of material exploration and referenced his time apprenticing in France, surrounded by baskets.
