Drinkware
Cups, jugs and teapots are the vessels that define this central collection. As an essential share of Remy's work, each object is both considered and aesthetic, reflecting his strong point-of-view. As functional works, handles are tailored to fit comfortably into the hand, embedding the maker's touch through with thumb indents for a natural hold.
Working with rich and neutral glazes, loose, painterly surface applications and specialty clay bodies, the surface reflects his locality, working with locally sourced materials and regional clays from the Asia-Pacific to enhance each form.
