REMY PAJACZKOWSKI-RUSSELL
Remy trained at the National Art School and then completed an apprenticeship under Maya Micenmacher in La Borne, France. It was during this time in a traditional French potters village that he developed his love of woodfired domestic ware.
In December 2021, he exhibited ‘The Baskets’, a body of work that explored the cultural practice of basket making as the vehicle to discuss archaeological records of the human experience.
In 2023, he worked at Apparatu in Barcelona, a world leading ceramic design studio famed for collaboration with fashion houses like Hermes and Lemaire.
Currently, Remy produces a range of pottery, furniture and sculpture that recycle waste materials from his surroundings. He aims to create ethically produced ceramic objects through sustainable practice
