Cement Fondu: Life + Land

In September of 2023, Remy and his creative partner Rachel Farag were invited to curate and exhibition as a part of the Better Nature Festival at Sydney gallery, Cement Fondu.

In this collaboration, Remy and Rach invited a range of artists from across Australia to make and show work that explored the unique but varied relationship of the artists to their physical surrounds. The exhibition featured work from the Hermansburg Potters Association, Bábbarra Women's Center, Simon Reece, Benjamin Akuila and both Remy and Rachel.

Mixed-media sculptures, ceramic wall pieces, vases, prints and platters were the pieces by which these artists explored their relationship to their own country and land they live in.

Burnt Dirt

In February of 2025, Remy was part of an artistic residency in Wollongong, where he experimented with terracotta and slip decoration, producing a series of tableware, stools vases.
