In February of 2025, Remy participated in a month-long artistic residency on the NSW South Coast in Wollongong on Dharawal Country.

During this period, Remy explored terracotta slipware and created a body of work with the aim to combine traditional ceramic practices with expressive mark making.

Over the month, Remy made mugs, jugs, plates, planters, vases and stools which featured colourful slip with energetic finger marks. He shared this body of work with local members of the ceramic community through Clay Wollongong and held an evening of talks and interactive demonstrations.

This experience was the result of a month of play and experimentation in a new side of ceramics and pottery for Remy and culminated in a loose and frenetic body of work.
