Remy Pajaczkowski-Russell

Remy is a potter working on Gadigal land, where he makes functional pieces from found Australian materials.

After completing his studies at The National Art School, Remy went on to do an apprenticeship in La Borne, France.  It was here that he developed his passion for woodfired domestic ware, slip decoration and the production of functional objects for ceremony, celebration and reflection.

Since returning to Sydney, he has continued the practices he learnt in France and incorporated the intense and varied materials offered by the Australian landscape into his work.
